Frequently Asked Questions
En Primeur is the practice of buying wine while it is still in barrel — essentially purchasing futures. It is commonly associated with Bordeaux, but used across many regions.
You can secure sought-after wines before public release, often at a better price. It also allows access to limited allocations that might not be available later.
Market prices may not rise as expected, and there's a delay before receiving the wine. Always purchase through reputable merchants with strong track records.
